A rare component that drops exclusively from more powerful versions of the Ultimate God, Gemini (Red Wing). The light counterpart will usually appear alongside this version in more difficult battles and can drop the 
Gemini White component.
Gemini Black can be used as an ingredient for making the most powerful powerful protector (MND/DEF), belt (HP/SP), and charm (MND/INT/TEC):

Drop locations[]
This boss can be encountered near the end of the story in Castor Ruins but does not drop the item as its quality is too high for that point in the game. She can be fought a 2nd time on Sapphire World during post game and can drop the Gemini Black but only if she's item captivated (yellow emotion gauge).
Pretty much drops in the same location as the Gemini White component except that this component can be found easily in the final 7 World Redux battle. This battle somehow includes 2 dark Gemini, possibly due to both monsters having the same name.
Stealing from bosses will drop both their Normal (usually a random item) and Rare (usually their component) item so stealing an item from them would guarantee both their items. Using skills like Chicken Run Trap, Phantom Mirage, Eagle Shot, Reflection Ball etc will steal their normal items while Special Skills will steal their rare item.

The required components must be sold to the vendor to purchasing better items as well as earning a little bit of extra money. There is no use to keeping the components other than Silver Ingot x2 which is used for Captivating Planet Spot #3 on World of Awakening.
Components that are labeled in red, need to be found in order for it to appear in the shop.
