When I follow pages, I want to know what's going on. It's annoying to not see any summary for edits on my emails but I get really happy to see Feinoha or other courteous users write a summary of the edits they make on articles I follow.
If you are only doing a small edit and don't want to write a summary, make sure you click "minor edit". It's common courtesy to write a summary if others are following the same article you are working on.
Sorry again. Just wanted to make sure I don't lose the day track. Since my badges are disabled I can't keep track of what badges I've earned. Anyway, there isn't much, just additions and placeholders. Those could qualify as minor edits. Charts and stuff are major.
Just made a minor edit. Happy? Again, sorry for the tone.
If you don't want to lose the day track, you can do simple edits to your own profile page or a personal article that nobody else touches, I'm totally fine with that and you can do that from now on if you don't feel like editting on articles everyday. If you want to write on an actual article, I suggest working on something you know most about the series. No speculations allowed so I might go and delete any trivia about references that are commonly used (in the future) because some people say the wiki users at the MS wiki are not very knowledgable about writing wikis.
For a small wiki that doesn't have much editors like this, it's important to think more about the other users and people reading the wiki. Try to make this wiki the best wiki it can be, I care alot about this wiki because I think it could get a lot better. Once it gets decent enough and has accurate information on everything, then it should be easier to maintain since a skeleton for it is built.
I see that, but one problem still exists: You, me and Fenioha are the only ones editing this wiki. You don't have to think that the wiki can get better overnight, and you don't need to get rid of referencial trivia, because it can be a sort of omage to a past character or a character that looks similar to another. And whatever happened to "It's okay" and you being nice?
Still, with Chapter 9 on the horizon in the original I can't stop. I never had to write summaries for small edits before here and I certainly didn't do this for the Pokemon Wiki.
I don't think this wiki can be better overnight but I did say that once the wiki gets decent enough and has accurate information on everything, then it should be easier to maintain since a skeleton is built for it and never did I say it was going to be done overnight. What I mean is that delete irrelevant information on articles is one step closer to becoming a better wiki, I know wikis take decades of work because I look at other wikis for inspiration. The pokemon wiki has 1000's of regular users everyday and most of them knowledgeable people know the series very well and they can tell what's true and false because you can find more reliable information about pokemon in other places besides the wiki at wikia.com. Since they have a lot of users, others can fix the wrong information but not on this wiki. Wiki's have been known for giving false information, especially the Mugen Souls wiki, please do whatever you can to make this wiki have the most reliable information it can have.
Not much is known about the Mugen Souls series, when you decide to add something, make sure you do extensive research about it on something official like on some of the staff's blogs or magazine article and not on speculation. I told you that it's okay if it's an absolute reference to whatever you're referencing. I do not want it to become a trend on this wiki and it really is.
This wiki has a lot of misleading information but I usually catch it early on since I watch this wiki's activity, I'd like to know what edits are being given unless you're new to the wiki. When you asked me for a G-Castle Game Over screen, I was like, "What G-Castle Game Over screen" because there is no G-Castle Game Over screen. Supra using a fishing rod as a weapon? Fishing rods are not weapons in Mugen Souls Z. That was the past though, I'm not worried about that anymore, just future articles.
I'm still being nice, I could just do the edits to the wiki without even consulting users if I want to delete contributions that I think don't belong here such as speculations.
Okay then. I also admit, I was wrong with the fishing rod thing and the game over screen. And it wasn't the whole rod just the line and the reel. I thought she used the line to choke people with. It's like Supra will sneak up behind you and choke you with the line. Mugen Souls is only 2 games and 2 years old. So there isn't much info to begin with. And I played through the game at least three times. Plus, in terms of Mugen Field, The hightest bet I ever beat was 100,001 point bet normal route. I'm still trying to get the Deep Sea Snake Scales and Green Petals for 2 Orphan Roars for 2 Shreck Busters. One for an SP-4000 and one for a Rotary Cannon. And both of said ingredients for 2 Rasen no. 2 and 2 Knuckle Breakers. Again, one for Drill Knuckle and one for Golden King Claw. After I build the new weapons made from weapons I'll move on to 200,001 bet normal route. That is also my latest progress report.
It's better to have no information than wrong information when it comes to wikis. I'm not talking about all of your articles, it's just that you always seem to like to add speculation (and it's usually wrong) onto a wiki when that kind of stuff doesn't belong here. People have always been complaining about wrong information on our wiki such as Supra using a fishing rod as weapon (your old edit) and you almost thought that the game over screen was for losing a ship battle.
Also trivia like when something looks like a Gundam shouldn't really belong here unless it is specifically referenced and not just a coincidence. Having Evee ears for Supra is a common mermaid thing, no need to add it on her trivia. Don't add coming soons to the DLC page unless you know what kind of content it has. We all know it's coming soon since it's already pre-schedule to be every Tuesday of the week, might as well add the dates for the rest of the month.
Also make sure to write a summary when you make an edit so everyone knows what you did.
They reminded me of Ryuto and Moon God for something but he is based off Megaman so I can see why you would think that.
I'm glad you're playing through the game again and your grandma enjoys the story. You can work on some Gameplay stuff if you're tired of doing stuff like location and characters. Those seem to be some of the more viewed items on the wiki.
I get it, can't read cyan text on a silver background. But if they were the same it would be boring. It was what made this particular wiki unique. I mean, there's Chouchou's infobox which had all the moe types in it, and the characters: The background indicates what color world they're from and the text is their moe-type. It would be boring if they looked the same. Besides, they're not done. There's still Supra and Ace.
First off, why do you edit on Mugen Souls Z if you never played it? The infoboxes need to be because I think the VA for Nao sounds like Kate Higgins to me but who knows.
I'm saying that you should NOT based on speculation for infoboxes please. Just look at what you wrote about Supra, the info you wrote about her using a fishing rod as a weapon and chokes people with it should not even that page.
Please only work on articles you know about and don't fill in any misleading information.
Sure, I'll do that but you can probably go do that. And when I say on paper, I mean somewhere on the internet or whatever.
Sorry about that, I keep saying this over and over again and you keep ignoring what I'm saying when I said "I know they sound exactly the same". So you get what I'm trying to say so I'll remove the English VA for all Mugen Souls Z characters
Yup, truce. You can try to see how other wiki's will react by adding in English VA just based on what you hear. I'm no expert at a wiki but you can try to add English VAs on the Demon Gaze or Fairy Fencer F wiki and I'd like to know how it goes.
I already asked people about it and they told me that they aren't allowed to disclose English VA cast so they definitely don't want to tell me since I'm a wiki editor.
Just lie. Tell them you're not a wiki editor unless they know or you told them beforehand. As for me cartoons are my life so you can probably guess that I can tell who is voicing a character in a new episode the moment it comes out. Say for example Lotus Hanazoe from Yugioh Zexal. You would think that with so many fastballs I would not know who it is but the very second I heard her talk I knew who voiced her in the dub: Lisa Ortiz. It was obvious that Johnny Yong Bosch was the voice of Ryuto, But Kira Buckland as Chou-Chou, that blew my mind. The only time I heard her voice was in the flash animations she was in but the moment I heard Masochist Chou-Chou that sounded like Peach from Brawl Taunts. The point is if I can recognize the voice in the first few seconds of dialogue, then it is a link. Never thought about it much as a kid but now this gift is both a blessing and a curse. It's a blessing because some sites benefitted from this like pokemon wikia, however others, like Aselia see it as a bane because there is no proof. Janice for example does not have an official website despite the fact she was one of the Planeteers back in the late 80's and early 90's. She must love her privacy. But now I'm just blathering on. So let's hold back on the English va's until the game comes out May 20th.
Most of the things you edit are very small which is not a problem but why are almost all of the articles you make are so short and don't end in complete sentences?
Also why edit the Supra page and stat that she uses a fishing line in battle? Please make sure the information is useful for the readers and not confuse people because now I have watch at everything your that you're contributing too.
Even the wiki contributer on the Supra page says she uses a Scythe in battle, also please make sure to read comments from pages that you've edited, luckily this wiki is small so it's easy to manage.
I'll make a very important blog post or announcement later on about this.
Supra is from Pisces. Pisces is fish. Supra has a fishing line for a weapon. Who told you she uses a scythe? Cause all I saw in her pic was using a fishing line. She could use it to choke her enemies to death. So useful.
I was also very surprised to find out about a lot of people.
Compile Heart uses independant artists to design characters for a lot of games such as Sorcery Saga and Monpiece. I think the character designer's main job is soley character design and the producer gives a lot of freedom for the programmers to make their system. The character designers for Compile Heart might not have an active role in the actual "production "but that is just an assumption on how Compile Heart works.
Another thing about Mugen Souls Z is that an artist named "A-10" designed Onluka (might want to add that onto Onluka's trivia later) and I kind of doubt that the original artist made her look old and wise which is she acts.
